Il Comune di Milano insieme a Triennale Design Museum, Associazione per il Disegno Industriale e 11 tra le più importanti scuole di design milanesi, tra le quali ISAD, ha creato MIND il primo “network del design” per attuare una forte iniziativa di supporto, di formazione e di promozione del design a Milano. E’ previsto un bando a livello nazionale ed internazionale per identificare 110 giovani da inserire in un ampio progetto di alta formazione coordinato da Alintec, (società promossa da Assolombarda, Camera di Commercio e Fondazione Politecnico di Milano) in grado di attirare a Milano ogni anno i migliori giovani creativi di tutto il mondo. L’obiettivo è di promuovere e stimolare un forte innalzamento qualitativo di master di eccellenza erogati dalle migliori scuole milanesi nelle varie discipline nelle quali si articola il Design. “MIND, MIlan Network for Design” mette in rete le scuole e le istituzioni partecipanti e sarà sostenuto da un ciclo di conferenze presso la Triennale alle quali ha aderito un consistente nucleo di Designer famosi, leader del settore. The MIND masters represent something unique on the international panorama, because they cover in a coordinated way most of the aspects of which design is composed. Each of the 11 schools taking part in the network offers a masters of excellence in a specific area within the MIND project. "MIND, MIlan Network for Design" connects the participating design schools, companies, publishing houses, professional offices, and public bodies and will be sustained by a series of public lectures in Triennale di Milano, led by important and famous designers.
